The assault unfolded between Monday night and the early hours of August 18, as the attackers moved stealthily from house to house, targeting residents as they slept. Deacon Bulus Dabit, the National President of the Mwaghavul Development Association, expressed his disbelief at the escalating insecurity, stating that people can no longer feel safe in their own homes.
